Dear friends,

As we prepare for the 219th General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church U.S.A., I encourage you to remember all who will be gathering in Minneapolis, July 2 through July 10.  Above all, please pray for the commissioners, General Assembly staff, local arrangements committee members, host churches, hotel and restaurant workers, police and visitors who will be involved.  I commend to you the link from Synod of the Sun Executive Judy Fletcher, which provides additional information about this important event in Presbyterian life (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B6oiSXJMp8U).  Whether in Arkansas or Minneapolis, we can all take part in seeking God’s blessing upon this assembly.
